Printmaking on textiles is the meetingpoint of several matters, when the original woven or knitted structure gets in reaction with new colours, shapes, changing its appearance and identity. This process, inspired me to investigate on other grid structures in my surrounding that were also transformed by another medium. I have found the most delicate examples from urban textures: illusions, reflections created by light and water that changed the manmade strict grid to something softer and more textural. The blue and grey tones that I have used reflect this habit of calm observation, enhancing the contrasts and depths of the fabric rather than taking over them.
